V. Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that the Post of the President should be preserved in Ukraine
V. Lytvyn stressed that "in the state should possess the President". "The President must be the face, moral dignity of the country, he must represent the country on the highest level", - he declared. At the same time V. Lytvyn declared that there should be responsible executive power that would form the Government and the Government "should be subordinated to the Ukrainian people".
Parliamentary form is possible if the elections system is changed, the Chairman stressed. He once again expressed the thought on the implementation of such a elections system when each deputy id responsible before the electorate.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada declared that "there is no project in the state to be called "Ukraine" that would give us certainty in the future development of the country. "I am convinced the foundation of the country not only for ourselves by for the whole world should be made by work, not talks, and we speak about details but not about the common tendencies, we do not know on what to concentrate", - he declared.
According to V. Lytvyn the principle directions of the country development should be elaborated by the scientific elite.
V. Lytvyn deems that the national idea should be "prevention of the Ukrainian people from the physical dying out and moral degradation", increase of the Ukrainian authority abroad.
V Lytvyn reminded that the Constitution of Ukraine defined Ukraine as a sovereign, independent state that according to him "should be built on the priorities of the science, education and technologies". "It should be filler of the national idea", - he declared.
